Since 2009, the Triple-A franchise affiliated with the Cleveland Indians is that of changing Columbus Clippers in International League. Between 1995 and 2008, the Buffalo Bisons, champions of the International League in 1998, 2002 and 2004, were affiliated with the Indians.
